We are seeking an Operations Associate to support and optimize essential business functions across the Operations team with an emphasis on Human Resources support. This role focuses on driving operational efficiency throughout the employee lifecycle and ensuring seamless internal processes in a fast-paced, high-integrity environment.
Primary Responsibilities
• Support the full employee lifecycle, managing end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a world-class candidate and employee experience.
• Administer HRIS and data integrity, maintaining all records within Ashby and ensuring high levels of data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support benefits and policy compliance, serving as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries while ensuring alignment with federal and state regulations.
• Drive organizational culture by planning company events, coordinating team-building activities, and supporting performance management initiatives.
• Provide some accounting support, assisting with accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and payroll/timesheet inquiries.
• Optimize administrative workflows, managing operations, scheduling, and travel coordination as needed to support mission-critical operations.
•Coordinate internal audits of personnel files and financial records to ensure "audit-ready" status at all times for compliance or tax purposes.
•Audit and refine internal SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to eliminate administrative bottlenecks and improve team response times.
•Evaluate and implement new software tools or integrations within the tech stack to automate manual data entry and reporting tasks.
Required Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business operations, with a heavy emphasis on HR functions and HRIS management.
• Hands-on experience with modern HR platforms (experience with Ashby is a significant plus).
• Proven ability to handle sensitive personnel and financial data with total discretion.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for data tracking and reporting.
Preferred Experience
• Demonstrated ability to implement new policies or refine existing HR workflows for better scalability.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a "customer service" approach to internal employee relations.
