In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems, you'll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions. C4ISR Space Systems, in the RF Effects (RFx) program area, has an exciting opportunity to lead strategic programs developing payloads for the Space applications. Space payloads leverage RF and space domain expertise from across the Electronic Systems sector. You will lead programs through the full program life cycle - proposal, design, build, integration, launch, and on-orbit operations. This position will also support our other space capture efforts, improve our business process, and develop our long-term business plan.
As an RFx program manager, you will provide leadership and management oversight of a BAE satellite payload programs. You will assure the project's financials, schedule and technical objectives are met and that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved. You will work closely with engineering and operations to efficiently build and deliver tactical space payloads. You will develop additional satellite payload follow-on efforts with new and existing customers. You will work across the business area and functional teams to shape and execute satellite payload programs as part of BAE's RFx Program Area.

Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelors' degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience in program management and/or with functional activities related to the program lifecycle, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in leadership of hardware development and/ or production programs.
- Strong customer focus and experience with relationship building, including ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) at all levels within the customer community.
- Proficient with developing program/project plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
- History working with operations and engineering to improve production and decrease unit costs.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and develop opportunities to increase the value of the project(s) under his/her purview, and to capture new projects; preparation of proposals in response to various customer requests.
- Proficient in the application of Earned Value Management System, Master Planning Techniques (IMP/IMS) and Subcontract Management for the successful execution of program objectives and to meet financial objectives for programs.
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels of senior management regarding program performance status (cost / schedule / resources / risk) as well as performance to annual financial objectives.
- Strong team building skills with demonstrated ability to attract, motivate and lead teams, that enable collaboration and coordination within and across teams, functions, other business units, and other BAE Systems Sectors.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- At least 8 Years of demonstrated experience as a Program Engineering Manager (PEM), Program Manager (PM), or Technical Project Manager, leading and inspiring diverse teams in a high tempo environment
- Experience in proposal development activities and capturing new business
- Space hardware development and production experience
- Experience in developing product roadmaps
- Experience in all the phases of the program life cycle
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
