- Deploy applications across dev, staging, and prod environments with consistency and stability.
- Build reusable CI/CD pipeline templates, jobs, and stages for cross-team consistency.
- Containerize and deploy applications using ECS and Lambda in collaboration with developers.
- Configure GitLab Runners and manage environment-specific variables and secrets.
- Define and deploy readiness and liveness probes for containers running in EKS and ECS.
- Develop custom scripts for CloudWatch custom metrics and alarms based on application probes.
- Monitor deployments and system health using CloudWatch and related tools.
- Implement rollback strategies and manage version control during deployments.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and improve pipeline performance and reliability.
- Use Python, Bash, YAML/JSON, Node.js, and Lambda functions for automation and operations.
- Perform daily health checks using AWS CLI or scheduled Lambda scripts and report results.
- Set up monitoring thresholds, dashboards, and metrics for applications and infrastructure.
- Conduct root cause analysis and incident correlation using monitoring and performance tools.
- Maintain a central inventory of licensed software deployed in AWS environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation on infrastructure and operational procedures.
- Assess and apply patches for infrastructure and third-party software.
- Develop patch testing schedules and rollout plans with rollback and recovery.
- Create and manage change records and participate in PI planning and Agile ceremonies.
- Keep cloud environments compliant with security standards and best practices.
- Orchestrate failover and restoration of ECS/EKS services, Lambda functions, databases, and other components.
- Test and document regional failover playbooks and recovery runbooks.
- Ensure adherence to RTO and RPO requirements.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support 24/7 production systems and respond to incidents.

- 8+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in cloud support, infrastructure maintenance, or IT operations.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong proficiency in AWS Lambda for writing, deploying, and optimizing functions.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and workflows, including GitHub or GitLab, EKS, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
- Scripting skills for automation and maintenance using Bash and Python.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect Associate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to diagnose performance issues in cloud environments (preferred).
- Experience creating pre-check and post-check scripts for validating system health (preferred).
- Familiarity with container orchestration using Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes (preferred).
- Knowledge of ITIL practice or incident management frameworks (preferred).
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

- AWS certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer or AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
- ITIL certification (preferred).
