Job Summary

As a General Laborer, you will support various operational and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our clients facility. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to strict safety protocols and contributing to overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general maintenance and cleaning of facilities, equipment, and work areas.
• Support loading, unloading, and transportation of materials and equipment.
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow strict safety guidelines, including radiation safety and environmental protocols.
• Provide assistance to skilled technicians, engineers, and other team members as needed.
• Participate in on-site training to develop skills and knowledge relevant to nuclear facility operations.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards or maintenance needs, reporting findings promptly.
• Adhere to all company policies, including quality assurance and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts is a plus
• Must have positive attitude, great work ethic, and strong work ethic
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under supervision.
• Strong physical stamina; ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Basic mechanical skills or prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and willingness to work in a highly regulated environment.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Work Environment

• Work will take place in industrial, outdoor, and controlled indoor environments.
• Must be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, gloves, and radiation dosimeters.

Pay

• $18-$22/hour

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
