Celeris Systems, Inc. (Celeris) is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to support a U.S. Space Force Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) program. This role supports mission-critical GPS enterprise capabilities and contributes directly to national security space systems.

The selected candidate will apply modern software engineering practices and standard development tools to support DoD space-based systems. Working alongside Government and industry partners, you will design, develop, and maintain analytical and engineering software tools that enable performance assessment, requirements verification, and technical decision-making across complex space architectures.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop software analysis tools that enable the GPS enterprise team to verify system requirements and support enterprise-level testing.
• Design and architect software solutions to process, visualize, and analyze large and complex data sets.
• Perform detailed analysis of GPS capabilities, including technical requirements, implementation plans, system impacts, and risk assessments.
• Interpret large-scale datasets to extract actionable insights and technical conclusions.
• Produce technical reports and briefings that provide recommendations for issue resolution and future technical direction.
• Collaborate across Government and contractor teams to ensure alignment with SE&I objectives and mission requirements.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field.
• 9+ years of professional experience in software development and engineering.
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing software applications in a structured engineering environment.
• Proficiency in C++, C#, and/or Python.
• Experience with software configuration management and version control tools/processes.
• Solid understanding of engineering practices, methods, and procedures.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Direct experience supporting GPS or PNT systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio (C++, C#), Python, and MATLAB.
• Familiarity working within DoD organizations and space acquisition environments.
