Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop, institutionalize, and continuously improve infrastructure configuration and change enablement policies, processes, procedures, and plans supporting enterprise operations.
- Oversee and govern enterprise change enablement activities to ensure changes are documented, risk-assessed, approved, implemented, and closed in line with DHA policy and established ITSM processes.
- Direct and monitor execution of periodic configuration audits across IOD systems, identify undocumented changes, and develop corrective action strategies to reduce operational risk and service disruptions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for infrastructure configuration and change enablement, interfacing with related processes, work centers, and business functions across the enterprise.
- Identify, capture, and document infrastructure Configuration Item impact and dependency relationships to support accurate change impact analysis and decision-making.
- Manage, track, and update infrastructure Configuration Item records, including asset attributes and relationship mappings, to maintain CMDB accuracy and reliability.
- Oversee Change Advisory Board activities, including preparation and review of agendas, change submissions, risk assessments, implementation evidence, and post-change results.
- Ensure change status accounting practices provide stakeholders with timely visibility into planned, ongoing, and completed changes across the enterprise.
- Review change request and configuration data to develop metrics, reports, and presentations supporting leadership insight into change performance and risk posture.
- Lead and review Post-Implementation Reviews for significant or high-risk changes and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into enterprise processes.
- Review and approve configuration and change enablement foundational documents prior to submission to Government configuration management leads.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to change coordinators and technical teams to improve change quality, documentation consistency, and governance discipline.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline or equivalent practical experience (as permitted by the contract).
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience supporting enterprise IT environments, with demonstrated work aligned to Senior Configuration/Change Enablement Services.
Certifications
- Approved DoD 8140 cyber-related certification.
- Alternate/equivalent certifications may be accepted with Government approval.
- ITIL4 Foundation is required.
Security Clearance
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust suitability and all required system access (e.g., CAC-enabled accounts) to perform duties.

- Work is primarily on-site in San Antonio, TX; limited remote work may be allowed when authorized by the Government and mission requirements permit. Work may require after-hours, weekend, and/or on-call support as directed, including support during scheduled maintenance windows, high-impact incidents, vulnerability response actions, inspections, and surge periods.
- This position is aligned to applicable DoD Manual 8140.03 work role 805 (NIST: OV-PM-005); contractor personnel must meet DoD 8570.01-M baseline certification requirements and transition to DoD Manual 8140.03 work role requirements, including required training, knowledge, skills, abilities, and tasks, within Government-directed timelines.
