Piper Companies is seeking a Public Health Analyst to support regulatory, scientific, and emergency-response activities for a leading public health and medical countermeasure (MCM) program. This fully remote role will work closely with Program Managers and multidisciplinary teams to analyze scientific evidence, prepare regulatory documentation, and inform decision-making that advances national health security and emergency preparedness.

Responsibilities of the Public Health Analyst
- Support and advise the Program Manager in the development, planning, and execution of regulatory and scientific activities related to medical countermeasure programs
- Conduct literature reviews and analyze scientific, clinical, and regulatory information to inform safe and effective MCM use
- Synthesize findings clearly for diverse audiences; compare scientific approaches, regulatory pathways, and evidence quality
- Perform data cleaning, statistical analysis, and interpretation to support public health and regulatory decision-making
- Draft and contribute to regulatory submissions, technical summaries, scientific reports, and evidence reviews
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures and documentation workflows for regulatory processes
- Track submission timelines, document revisions, and regulatory correspondence to support efficient program operations
- Integrate clinical, epidemiologic, and operational data into regulatory documentation and decision-support materials
- Provide technical assistance and regulatory guidance during public health emergency responses
Qualifications of the Public Health Analyst
- Bachelor's degree in public health, epidemiology, health sciences, or a related discipline (required)
- Master of Public Health (MPH) or related graduate degree (preferred)
- Experience supporting public health, epidemiology, regulatory, or scientific programs
- Strong quantitative skills, including data cleaning, analysis, and interpretation
- Experience in public health emergency response or outbreak support (preferred); must have NACI/Public Trust clearance
- Ability to synthesize scientific information and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences
