Work Schedule: 8am-4:30pm five days per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support for end-users experiencing hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Respond to and resolve trouble calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
- Assist with password resets, user account support, and system access issues.
- Document all support activities and contribute to technical documentation and user guides.
- Escalate more complex issues to Tier 2/3 support teams as necessary.
- Follow IT policies, security procedures, and organizational protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workspace and equipment are area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- 100% on-site position (no telework).
- Standard business hours; some flexibility or extended support may be needed based on mission.
- Must be able to lift and move equipment (up to 30 lbs) as needed.
- Work performed in a secured, professional office or data center environment.
Requirements
Required:
- Active CompTIA Security+ certification (required).
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and networking fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Desired:
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange/Office 365, and remote access tools.
- Previous exposure to DoD, defense, or secure IT environments.
- Additional IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL).
Security Clearance:
- Must be eligible to obtain a secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT preferred)
