MTSI is seeking a highly skilled Modeling and Simulation (M&S) engineer with experience using the Benchmark M&S tool to objectively evaluate, compare, and validate the performance of Missile Defense systems. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and analyze advanced Benchmark software models and simulations to support mission-level Golden Dome for America (GD4A) analysis efforts. This role requires expertise in the Benchmark M&S framework, software development, data analysis, and system performance evaluation to drive GD4A innovation and optimization.

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $150,000/year to $160,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis. This posting will be renewed periodically until the position is filled.

Required Skills:
- US citizenship is required and must have an active secret level security clearance.
- 7+ years of experience developing multi-domain DoD modeling and simulation models and simulations.
- 4+ years developing and validating Benchmark software models and simulations.
- Experience developing models for aircraft, missiles, spacecraft, and sensor systems.
- Ability to perform in-depth analysis and provide actionable insights to improve system efficiency.
- Willingness to collaborate with technical leaders and cross-functional teams to define modeling requirements and objectives.
- Capability to develop and maintain documentation for models, simulations, and functional processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Desired Qualifications:
- Top Secret clearance
- Prior experience with the AFSIM modeling and simulation framework.
- Familiarity with sensor systems (e.g., EO/IR imaging systems, radar).
- Intermediate Python and MATLAB development skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Master's degree in a technical discipline.
