Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated, solution-oriented, and results driven individual to join a team managing a diverse portfolio of international programs. The Sr Specialist, Program Management provides support to Program and Portfolio managers with program tasks or managing follow on production programs and new development programs. This program management role provides direction and Integrated Program Teams for the company. This role is also responsible for accomplishing program objectives by supporting planning and assisting with the evaluation of program activities such as schedule review, and production hardware tracking. This role will require interactions with all core team members including engineering, quality, supply chain management, operations, program finance, and contracts. This role is responsible for program budgets, cost reporting, coordination of resources, and customer interface under minimal supervision. This position is also expected to take a lead role in the execution of specific programs as defined by their manager.

Essential Functions:
  • Directs all phases of programs assigned from inception through completion.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Drives program execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs.
  • Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
  • Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
  • Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and identifies and implements solutions, such as allocating resources or changing contractual specifications.
  • Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
  • Create, plan, and monitor C-Check inspection progress daily and capture all squawks/non-routines - record for transparency and accountability.
  • Preplan all tasks, verify funding, request tickets from planning, track all required parts, work with HDL and PMs to schedule best opportunity to work.
  • Attend regularly scheduled Maintenance meetings with HDL, Program Managers and Customers to review open maintenance items.
  • Ensure OEM data is provided to the department and issued to the appropriate functions including planning.
  • Provide around the clock technical support to Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Production, Quality, and Customer.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Highly motivated, solution-oriented, and results driven individual
  • Working Knowledge of FAA requirements
  • Experienced with MS Office
  • Production/Manufacturing program management experience
  • Program Cost management and cost account management experience


Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Manufacturing operations and/or Aircraft Maintenance experience
  • Demonstrates aptitude in the following areas
  • Project management, production projects
  • Program Scheduling
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen
