You will be the Shipping/Receiving B for the Shipping & Receiving team. Our team is responsible for managing inbound and outbound material flow, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting logistics operations across the enterprise.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Shipping/Receiving B you will be responsible for coordinating the receipt, verification, and distribution of materials while maintaining meticulous records and compliance with shipping regulations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receive incoming materials (raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, equipment, etc.), verify quantities against packing sheets or invoices, and process receipts in the MRP system.

  • Prepare shipping documentation (labels, bills of lading, AVOs, DD250, DD1149, DD1907, hazmat paperwork, etc.) and utilize shipping software to execute outbound shipments.

  • Act as liaison between vendors, purchasing, accounts payable, quality inspectors, and hardware representatives to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth material flow.

  • Maintain the Shipping Department's record-keeping system, including logs, discrepancy reports, and foreign goods receipt slips, while supporting both Shipping "A" and Receiving "A" duties as needed.

  • Demonstrate proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Office, and related software; obtain forklift certification when required.

Basic Qualifications:
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Six or more months of shipping and receiving experience.
• Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Prior forklift experience.
• Prior wood and container fabrication experience.
• Current forklift certification.
• Material handling equipment operation experience.
• SAP or other enterprise software systems experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience working with external customers.
• Experience with hazardous materials.
• Experience building and assembling containers and packaging to protect parts.
• Experience with logistical systems and databases.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
