Celeris Systems is seeking an accomplished Senior Test Engineer V to support advanced testing efforts at Vandenberg Space Force Base. This role is ideal for a highly experienced engineer who thrives in complex technical environments and takes ownership of end-to-end test strategy, execution, and improvement.
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of sophisticated test methodologies and equipment to evaluate both standard and specialized systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring product performance, reliability, and compliance through rigorous testing and data-driven process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and execution of advanced test methodologies and test equipment for standard and non-standard devices.
- Plan and coordinate labor, schedules, and resources required to support comprehensive testing and evaluation efforts.
- Provide technical leadership to test teams by defining test parameters, sample requirements, and specific test procedures.
- Analyze test data and recommend improvements to test equipment, procedures, manufacturing processes, or testing requirements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert for complex or specialized testing, including customer samples and non-routine test scenarios that require advanced expertise.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of relevant experience, or
- Master’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or
- PhD with 9+ years of relevant experience
