Help

• Provide critical analysis and planning to ensure synchronized medical support for current and future operations throughout the Indo-Pacific AOR.
• Apply a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to assess and improve network effectiveness.
• Interpret data from numerous internal and external stakeholders in order to identify gaps and develop innovative solutions to enhance mission effectiveness.
• Inform senior-leader decision-making through timely reports, predictive analysis, and continuous process improvement.
• Process and manage Director's Critical Information Requirements (DCIR)/ Commander's Critical Information Requirements (CCIR), Manning Assistance Requests (MARs), and Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) taskings.
• Exercise oversight of classified/unclassified operational communications, ensuring continuity of operations across multiple platforms.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• This position may be designated "Mission Essential." In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing operational oversight and analysis for network-level medical communications and information operations; supporting medical operations centers and crisis response activities; evaluating healthcare operations to identify improvements; and managing or assigning organizational taskers for a multi-facility medical operation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the lower grade/level in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
