What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and access control requirements at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter boundaries to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems as assigned, and document observations and routine activities in reports and/or electronic logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts, coordinating with on-site teams, and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
• Control entry and exit at designated posts by checking identification, verifying authorizations, and directing visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Certification in CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
