Description
Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is seeking an experienced Information Specialist/Knowledge Management professional to manage and optimize information systems within the Army Resource Cloud (ARC/cPROBE). The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining knowledge management systems, databases, and repositories to ensure seamless access to information for users across the organization. This role requires strong analytical, technical, and collaboration skills to evaluate existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility in information retrieval and management. The ideal candidate will also ensure compliance with DoD and Army cybersecurity standards while supporting the integration of internal and external information across the ARC/cPROBE environment.

Required Qualifications

- Current Security + Certification
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another relevant field is required.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, with 4-6 years of relevant experience required for candidates without formal education.
- Highly experienced in IT systems, data management, and information organization principles.
- A minimum of 3 to 6 years of IT and business/industry experience is required.
- Experience should include managing information systems, developing knowledge management solutions, organizing data repositories, and working with stakeholders to optimize data utilization.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in managing large-scale data systems and repositories.
- Foundation of hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing knowledge management systems, databases, and repositories.
- Experience ensuring data is accessible, secure, and reliable for users across the organization.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, including data, design, product, and executive teams, to identify user and information needs, gather data, and create effective solutions for information retrieval.
- Experience implementing solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility, while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies used in knowledge management, such as database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence).

- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience analyzing and evaluating existing information systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Experience with cloud-based systems and services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the ARC/cPROBE environment, including its applications, data repositories, and integration with external systems, is a plus.
Key Responsibilities

- Ensure all systems and processes comply with DoD and Army cybersecurity standards, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) requirements
