As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a high-tech aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to reports with clear communication. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, and support site teams with customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and other security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, then document and report findings according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate updates to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
