Summary
Defense Acquisition Support Services (DAS) is seeking a Database Administrator, Senior- DCGS Infrastructure FOS to support our customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Full-time onsite at APG.

The DBA will support several PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server database Management systems for a variety of applications on the DCGS-A program.

Defense Acquisition Support Services (DAS) is seeking a Database Administrator, Senior- DCGS Infrastructure FOS to support our customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Full-time onsite at APG.
Responsibilities
The DBA will support several PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server database Management systems for a variety of applications on the DCGS-A program.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure the integrity, security, and high availability of these DBMS.
- Administrate PostgreSQL Databases in Linux & Window environments and set up monitoring and maintaining PostgreSQL instances.
- Implement Postgres and SQL Server database administration and performance tuning.
- Certify the availability and performance of the databases that support our systems, ensuring that they have sufficient resources allocated to support high resilience and speed.
- Perform and assist developers in performance tuning.
- Proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime and improve maintenance of the databases to include rollouts, patching, and upgrades,
- Experience working with Database DISA STIGS.
- Database: Postgres, MySQL, MS SQL Server
- Storage SME
- DB Architect
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Engineering or Technical discipline.
- Five (5) years of relevant experience within the last 8 years.
