Director, FORGE Integrated Warfighter Ecosystem

Description

The Director, FORGE Integrated Warfighter Ecosystem is CenCore's senior accountable executive for end-to-end acquisition execution, enterprise program delivery, and integrated capability fielding across the FORGE Integrated Warfighter Ecosystem.

This role serves as the single, empowered executive authority responsible for translating Government intent into delivered, certified, operationally relevant, and sustained warfighter capability. The Director exercises enterprise authority across acquisition strategy, contracting governance, compliance posture, test and evaluation readiness, subcontractor integration, and delivery at scale.

Operating at the intersection of government acquisition, industry integration, and operational execution, the Director represents CenCore as the senior acquisition and program execution leader for assigned FORGE portfolios, interfacing directly with customers, auditors, oversight bodies, and ecosystem partners.

This position is deliberately designed to ensure execution credibility, compliance discipline, and integration velocity across CenCore's highest-priority national security programs.

Responsibilities :

Enterprise Portfolio Leadership

• Serve as the single accountable executive for acquisition and program execution across assigned FORGE ecosystem portfolios.
• Organize, align, and direct personnel across acquisition, program management, communications, integration, and subcontract management functions.
• Allocate assigned execution resources in alignment with corporate strategy, customer obligations, and approved financial thresholds.
• Establish and enforce decision gates, escalation paths, and execution discipline across all ecosystem participants.

Program Execution & Delivery Excellence

• Translate customer operational requirements into executable technical, contractual, schedule, and cost baselines.
• Maintain disciplined control of cost, schedule, performance, and risk across complex, multi-vendor programs.
• Ensure delivered capabilities meet all technical, operational, safety, cybersecurity, and certification requirements.
• Lead program recovery, restructuring, and corrective action for at-risk or underperforming efforts.
• Drive predictable execution outcomes while increasing delivery velocity and integration maturity.

Acquisition Strategy & Contracting Governance

• Establish and oversee acquisition strategies compliant with applicable statutes, regulations, and customer authorities.
• Direct prime contract execution posture, including contract modifications, claims strategy, and contractual risk management.
• Ensure defensible acquisition decisions, evaluation frameworks, and subcontracting approaches.
• Maintain rigorous change control, baseline management, and documentation discipline across the ecosystem.
• Lead execution under FAR, non-FAR, and hybrid acquisition pathways, as required by mission need.

Subcontractor & Vendor Ecosystem Management

• Exercise oversight and governance of a large, diverse subcontractor and third-party vendor ecosystem.
• Define and enforce ecosystem onboarding standards, compliance requirements, and performance scorecards.
• Coordinate contract negotiations and subcontract actions in partnership with CenCore Legal, Contracts, and Finance.
• Audit and assess subcontractor execution plans, architectures, integration readiness, and test preparedness.
• Direct corrective action, supplier removal, or subcontract termination when required to protect customer outcomes.
• Mitigate vendor, supply chain, and single-point-of-failure risks; ensure continuity of operations.
• Ensure subcontract flow-downs are accurate, enforced, auditable, and compliant with all applicable regulations.

Training, Integration, and Test Readiness

• Organize and direct recurring ecosystem-wide training events to address:
• • Acquisition and compliance requirements
  • Policy changes and oversight expectations
  • Integration and operational testing preparation
  • Certification and readiness milestones
• Ensure the ecosystem is collectively prepared to succeed in test events, audits, and operational transitions.
• Drive integration discipline to reduce late-stage risk and eliminate last-minute execution heroics.

Stakeholder Engagement & Representation

• Represent CenCore as the FORGE Ecosystem Director to customers, auditors, and oversight organizations.
• Establish clear roles, responsibilities, reporting structures, and accountability mechanisms across the ecosystem.
• Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation strategies with clarity, credibility, and executive presence.
• Lead industry engagement and partner coordination in support of mission outcomes and long-term growth.
