Position is a 1 year contract with the opportunity to extend
Possible travel - 10%, domestic
Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead network architecture, design, development, deployment, configuration, administration, and system integration of various physical and virtual network architectures
• Virtualization administration and maintenance
• Working in cloud and hybrid enterprise environments, including datacenter network and infrastructure security, and system boundary security
• Translating business objectives and requirements into deployable Zero Trust and hybrid cloud solutions
• Developing solutions for end-to-end network automations, including network orchestration across multi-vendor and hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure
• Provide customer with technical design support to system and software technical specifications, design, proof-of-concept prototyping, and development activities
• Provide technical direction for large-scale network engineering projects, including operations, performance, testing, manufacturing, cost and schedule, and training
• Contribute to technical proposal preparation and serve as a subject matter expert in non-advocate, internal and customer reviews
• Interface directly with customers to establish trusted and influential relationships
• Lead and advise engineering managers, program managers, business development managers, product line managers, and component architects
• Ensure the development and management of technical risks and develop and execute mitigation plans
• Help establish technical baselines for the team and participate in change review boards
