This is an exciting opportunity to work on the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program (FBM), a 63-year-old Program with a long-standing history of Mission Success and of a strong partnership with our Navy Customer! Are you an enthusiastic individual with a strong planning background that can thrive in an exciting fast-paced dynamic environment?
In this dynamic role you will:
• Develop proposals, support negotiations, and support projects through completion
• Actively lead and balance technical, cost, and schedule requirements for these projects.
• Project risk identification and mitigation strategy development
• Coordinate with Product Teams and balance resource requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experience handling, writing, organizing, and coordinating documentation/data
• Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar tools
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work collaboratively with peers, customers, and supervisors and begin to build professional relationships.
• Ability to travel occasionally
Desired Skills:
• Ability to perform straightforward compliance checks against requirements and flag issues for review.
• Capability to assist technical leads in tracking cost, schedule, and scope items and to provide clear status updates.
• Beginning to apply systems-thinking concepts; able to identify how a change in one area may affect others and suggest practical improvements.
• Data Analysis experience
• Experience participating in cross-functional teams to help resolve technical questions and support problem-solving efforts.
• Familiarity with the lifecycle stages (definition, design, build, test, and field deployment) through coursework, internships, or early-career assignments

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
