As the Flight Sciences Manager, you will provide first line leadership to a team of engineers tasked with analyzing Missile Systems inclusive of: Loads and Dynamics, Stress, Thermal, Aerodynamics, and Mass Properties. This will include oversight of teams spanning multiple facilities across the United States. Duties will include:
• Leadership of the development of plans, schedules, budgets, and estimates for analysis activities
• Leadership of the execution of analysis activities and high quality data products for reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR including
• Leadership of an analysis team supporting test execution including resolution of test anomalies and failures.
• Drive the 1LMX culture through coordination and communication across multiple organizations to enable on-time delivery.
• Manage a workforce of engineers to enable 100% support for program milestones and rapid delivery of analysis products while enabling a strong work/life balance for the team.
• Ensure 100% compliance to contract and company requirements
• Maintain robust communication with the your peer leaders in adjacent organizations to ensure full alignment and coordination

Basic Qualifications:
• Strong technical background in aerospace analysis of spacecraft and/or missile systems in one or more of the following areas: Stress, Dynamics, Thermal, or Aerodynamics.
• Experience leading a technical or analysis team through an aerospace product development lifecycle including SRR, PDR, CDR
• Experience growing a team and developing a pipeline of talent
• Customer facing experience on an aerospace development effort
• Experience developing schedules, plans, and cost estimates for complex development programs
• Active OR Current Secret Clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated leadership experience of a large, multifunctional team, including disciplines outside of the candidate's core experience.
• Control Account Management certification, Certified Principal Engineer certification, Green Belt certification, New Business Proposal experience including authoring Basis of Estimate documents.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), including customer liaison for Technical Interchange Meetings and Design Reviews.
• Experience supporting or leading the resolution of large, complex system integration problems
• Extensive experience utilizing high performance computing systems to solve complex problems
• Considered a technical leader in aerospace analysis and test with direct experience.
• Knowledge and experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and configuration management processes.
• Strong technical writing skills including formal documentation and presentation material for customers and leaders with all levels of experience
• Experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency.
