Description:
You will be the Field Engineer Associate Manager for the Javelin Joint Venture team located near the sunny Pacific coast of Los Angeles. Our team drives production control, technical oversight, and personnel management for depot level repair and sustainment of the Javelin Anti Tank Missile program-a strategic partnership between Lockheed Martin and Raytheon. We enable rapid, high quality maintenance for domestic and international customers in a fast paced, mission critical environment.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Field Engineer Associate Manager you will be responsible for orchestrating material, manpower, and schedule flow to keep the depot running like a well tuned engine. You'll partner daily with the sustainment team to ensure data integrity, apply continuous improvement tools, and deliver technical excellence that translates into mission success.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary crew of repair, quality, and supply technicians.
• Supervise repair, modification, assembly, and testing of tactical and training Javelin equipment, including sub assembly integration.
• Coordinate readiness and daily support across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless hand offs.
• Manage production control functions: material allocation, staffing, resource planning, and real time schedule adjustments for retrofits, repairs, and inspections.
• Maintain accurate depot logistics and maintenance databases; provide technical expertise to the sustainment team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that shrink repair cycles and boost operational efficiency.
• Develop, document, and enforce standard operating procedures for depot logistics and repair processes.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate team members; oversee performance assessments, compensation decisions, and recognition programs.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends, recommend process enhancements, and support data driven decision making.
