Overview
SOSi is seeking a detail‑oriented Subcontracts Administrator I to support the Independent Contractor Management Group (ICMG) within the COMPASS Procurement organization. This role is responsible for administering independent contractor agreements and related subcontracting activities, ensuring compliance with applicable legal, contractual, and company requirements.
Essential Job Duties
- Provide primary procurement support to the Independent Contractor Management Group (ICMG), including onboarding and subcontract administration for independent contractors.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and administer Non‑Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Independent Contractor Agreements (ICAs), and related modifications, representations and certifications, and supporting documentation.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage subcontracts from initiation through closeout.
- Ensure all subcontracting activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable legal and regulatory standards.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of subcontract agreements, amendments, and related correspondence.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with subcontractors and independent contractors to ensure clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with subcontracting activities.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Prepare and provide reports related to subcontracting activities, performance metrics, and issues for management review.
- Communicate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders by clearly articulating risks, challenges, and knowledge gaps, proactively raising concerns, and influencing collaboration to ensure deadlines are met and issues are addressed.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in subcontract administration supporting U.S. Government and/or commercial contracts.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering NDAs and Independent Contractor Agreements.
- Working knowledge of subcontracting principles, contract law, and procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven problem‑solving skills and ability to proactively identify and address issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to meet deadlines and resolve challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint.
- Experience using DocuSign or similar electronic signature platforms.
- NCMA certification (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM).

Work Environment
- Standard office environment with a hybrid schedule (three days onsite, two days optional remote).
- May require non‑traditional work hours, including evenings or weekends, as business needs dictate.
- Occasional travel may be required.
