Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver advanced software capabilities to meet operational and technical requirements.
- Provide senior-level engineering expertise to drive innovation and overcome complex technical challenges.
- Lead system and component-level testing to produce scalable, interoperable, and reliable solutions.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate cyber capabilities into broader systems, ensuring alignment across deliverables and operational goals.
- Support all phases of the cybersecurity solutions lifecycle, including refining requirements, creating documentation, and addressing stakeholder feedback.
- Troubleshoot and implement updates to maintain system integrity, reliability, and compliance with evolving cybersecurity standards.
- Conduct technical demonstrations, generate supporting deliverables such as test plans and user guides, and ensure successful stakeholder engagement.
- Identify risks early in the development process and develop mitigation strategies to ensure success.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience. Additional experience and/or certifications may be excepted in lieu of a degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Applicable DoD 8140 (formerly DoD 8570) certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, or other relevant cybersecurity/software certifications).
- Demonstrated expertise in developing, testing, and deploying advanced software solutions in dynamic and operationally focused environments.
- In-depth knowledge of secure software development lifecycle processes in line with DoD and modern cybersecurity best practices.
- Extensive experience with programming languages, software frameworks, system integration, and tools used in cyber engineering.
Proven ability to collaborate in highly technical, team-oriented development settings while meeting timelines and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience integrating software solutions with advanced cyber systems or mission-critical operations.
- Advanced knowledge of secure coding principles, vulnerability assessments, and defensive cyber development techniques.
- Familiarity with emerging frameworks and technologies relevant to advanced cybersecurity solutions.
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills for managing stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.
