One Federal Solution is looking for a proactive and reliable Loading Dock Support Specialist to assist with daily receiving and delivery operations for a federal facility. The ideal candidate will help ensure smooth loading dock activities, accurate documentation of incoming items, and organized storage practices while following established government procedures. This role is best suited for someone who is detail‑oriented, customer‑service focused, and comfortable working in a busy, high‑traffic environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Greet delivery drivers and coordinate safe vehicle movement, parking, and unloading
Accept packages, verify shipment details, and enter information into tracking systems
Organize and store incoming materials in designated areas, ensuring proper handling
Assist with routing packages to the appropriate building personnel
Keep loading dock and storage areas orderly, safe, and compliant with facility rules
Perform routine inventory checks and support basic property tracking
Prepare paperwork, logs, and documentation to maintain accurate records
Follow established security, safety, and access control procedures throughout dock operations
Minimum Requirements
At least two years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or similar roles
Ability to lift, move, and handle packages as part of daily tasks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
High school diploma or GED
Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States
Must hold an active Secret clearance
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
