Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) In-depth knowledge of depot maintenance, logistics, and engineering required to provide business planning and program management support for a major area of production in a complex industrial environment. 2) Business management and trade practices associated with planning, resource management, and production execution for a major weapon system program. 3) Ability to meet and effectively communicate and negotiate with higher level management within the FRC East and at outside activities (i.e., NAVAIR, NAVICP, TYCOMs, OEM's, PMA, etc). The Navy/Marine Corps aviation command structure, function, and scope of external activities (NAVAIR, NAVICP), their relationships, and how they interface with D-level, I-level, and 0-level aviation activities. 4) The capabilities and internal processing procedures of the depot and how to assess, organize, and utilize the capabilities of a depot including engineering and logistics for equipment and weapon systems planning. 5) Plans, organizes and directs a team of work and negotiates effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations for the agency which require extensive changes in the established procedures.
