We are seeking a strong Senior Cloud Networking Engineer to support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency to help in the design, implementation, and operation of a secure, cloud-based software development environment and production runtime . Candidates must be passionate, energized, and excited to work on modern architectures and solve challenging problems for our clients.
Position Description (what you will do)
- Provide networking architecture support for a DoD enterprise cloud environment
- Support the onboarding / configuration of new tenants, including network routing, DNS, and cloud load-balancer configuration
- Work with DoD stakeholders to manage / operate BCAP and IAP connectivity for cloud-hosted applications
- Act as a mentor for junior cloud and networking engineers
Requirements:
- 6+ years of relevant experience in Cloud/Networking
- Knowledge of DoD Cloud networking requirements, including VDSS/VDMS
- Understanding of cloud connectivity architecture, including BCAP and IAP
- Expert knowledge of AWS cloud networking concepts, including best practices for VPC/subnet layout, cloud ingress/egress
- Expertise with DNS configuration and management, as well as IPv4 and IPv6 addressing
- Experience with TLS 1.2, 1.3
- Experience connecting cloud enclaves with DoD networks across NIPR, SIPR, and other environments
- SSL and certificate management
- Must possess a DoD Top Secret Clearance or higher
Nice to Have:
- Expertise with AWS GovCloud architecture (Unclassified & secret)
