Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a P-8A Missions Systems Level 2 IPT Leader (Level K) to join our dynamic team in Kent, WA or Tukwila, WA to support the Mission Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT).
The Level 2 Mission Systems (MS) Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leader will have responsibility for product teams and program deliverables through develop, build, and support phases of the program. This leader will be responsible for overall schedule, cost, risks, issues and opportunities for their assigned product teams. This includes day-to-day execution and task prioritization for hardware and software deliverables. They will work closely with Engineering functional managers and other functions within their IPT to ensure that technical requirements are met. This role will be accountable to the P-8A Mission Systems Level 1 IPT Leader and will integrate across multi-functional teams to ensure performance to contractual work scope by utilizing Program Management Best Practices.
Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

- A Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent work or military experience
- 1+ year of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
- 1+ year of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
- 1+ year of experience employing Earned Value Management techniques either as a project manager, control account manager, or control account manager assistant
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with schedule and budget management, integration of all logistics elements, customer communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met
- 1+ year of experience in hardware and software integration
- 1+ years of experience partnering with a United States Government (USG) Department of Defense (DoD) customer to propose or deliver services and products
- 2+ years of experience employing Earned Value Management techniques either as a project manager, control account manager, or control account manager assistant
- Experience with military commercial derivative aircraft
- Experience working with the US Navy as a customer
- Experience supporting defense acquisition and proposal development
- Active Secret US Security Clearance
