Systems Engineer Technical Specialist

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join a skilled, highly respected and long standing team supporting Analysis, and Testing of operational systems. This position requires an understanding of the Intelligence Community and customer domain, application of the Systems Engineering Principles, and experience using analytic techniques for problem solving. Activities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform analysis and evaluations related to mission capabilities or customer operations.
• Perform project management required for integrating, testing, or evaluating systems.
• Customer facing interaction, team collaboration, and coordination of activities across teams.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• 10-12 years' experience with BS or 8-10 years with MS or 5-7 years with Phd
• Experience working in an operational environment and demonstrated knowledge of user needs
• Experience in analysis of complex systems or related problem solving activities
• Understanding of the systems engineering life cycle activities, such as: Requirements definition or evaluation, Schedule and/or Time management, Independent testing and data verification
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; Demonstrated ability to clearly explain technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ability and success working in team environments
• Customer focused and capable of representing the customer in user outreach and familiarity training activities and community forums
