We are seeking highly cleared professionals who excel at the intersection of advanced communications infrastructure, distributed systems, and mission assurance-where reliability, security, and performance are paramount.

Specifically, we are looking for aTS/SCI cleared Data Visualization Engineer - Journeyman to support this mission at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.

Responsibilities:

As a Data Visualization Engineer - Journeyman, you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include:

• Designs and develops interactive dashboards and reports to present system design activities, requirements validation, and comprehensive system performance assessment effectively.
• Creates compelling visualizations of system constraints, software characteristics (where applicable to system T&E), and performance capabilities across diverse technological environments.
• Transforms complex system T&E data into actionable visual insights that enable continuous technological optimization and mission readiness.
• Automates the generation of visualizations and reports from various system T&E data sources, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
• Collaborates effectively with system T&E engineers to understand complex testing insights and operational requirements, translating data into visual narratives for architectural analysis.
• Identifies and implements appropriate visualization techniques to highlight key performance indicators, anomalies, and trends in system behavior and validation results.
• Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation for visualization designs, data sources, and user guides for system T&E reporting tools.
• Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodologies for visualizing system T&E insights that enable continuous technological optimization and mission readiness.
• Ensures and champions adherence to established data visualization standards, best practices, and documentation guidelines for all assigned projects.
• Supports the visualization of direct support testing of non-deadly components weapons systems essential to Research and Development, production, and/or maintenance.
• Utilize the following TO Management & Financial Tracking Tools: Task Order portal; Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate); GInvoicing API; ASSIST portal integration; variance analysis dashboards; MS Project; Primavera; GFP management modules; WBS tracking systems; ServiceNow; Jira Service Desk; automated RIP/CTP/TAR workflows; SharePoint libraries; Confluence; Microsoft Search; lessons learned databases; video library repositories; eMass, Archer GRC; internal audit portals; Excel/SharePoint audit templates; CMDB with version control; Power BI with R/Python integration; Tableau; predictive analytics engines; Teams; Azure AD role based access; mobile access via Power Apps.
• Utilize the following Role Specific Tools: Data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense); statistical computing and visualization libraries (Python matplotlib, seaborn, Plotly; R ggplot2, Shiny); monitoring and logging (SolarWinds, Datalog, QRadar, Grafana); CI/CD pipeline integration for automated visualization updates (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, DAST, Azure DevOps); big data analytics platforms (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Databricks) with visualization connectors; cloudbased visualization services (Azure Synapse, AWS QuickSight, Google Data Studio); SOP/QRC libraries for standardized visualization processes; lessons learned repositories for visualization practices; configuration management databases (CMDB) for visualization artifacts; stakeholder communication dashboards for test and evaluation reporting; predictive analytics engines for trend analysis and forecasting; compliance audit checklists for DoD data visualization and reporting standards.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Data Visualization Engineer or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMD level;
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with a BS/BA degree or 3 years' experience with a MS/MA or 1 years' experience with a PhD. or 9 years' w/o a degree or 7 years' with AS/AA degree
• A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
• US citizenship is required

Desired Qualifications:

• DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.
• DoD 8140 role for WRC: 421; Element: IT; Work Role: Database ADmninistrator; Proficiency Level: Intermediate

Work Environment:

• Location:MacDill AFB, FL
• On-site expectations: Full-time on-site presence required for equipment management and asset tracking
• Travel:May require occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites for logistics coordination and facility assessments

Details

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
