The SPA Contracts, Subcontracts and Procurement organization strategically support operating Divisions to assist in company growth and to reduce contractual risk. The Contracts/Subcontracts Intern will support contract administration activities related to contracts with the Department of Defense and Civilian agencies. The right individual must be highly motivated to support a growing company, have a passion for learning, and have exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
- Provide augmented administration support to Contracts/Subcontracts Administrators by assisting with preparing internal and external contractual documentation, reporting requirements, proposals, and file maintenance.
- Review solicitation packages and support proposal preparation.
- With guidance from Senior Contracts Administrators, exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Which requires a degree of analytical ability to understand and interpret complex data and solve complex problems.
- Regularly interact with customers, management (at all levels) and members of functional management regarding acquisition requirements and issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate program and have at least one semester remaining following the internship
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) is desired.
- Must be proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
- Must be detail oriented, organized and highly motivated.
