Nightwing is looking to hire a detail driven manual test engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software. In this role, you will work closely with scrum masters, developers, and other Quality Assurance professionals to ensure our applications are reliable, intuitive, and ready for real-world use. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with a keen sense of ownership, comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment, and has a collaborative mindset with passion for quality and continuous improvement. What You Will Get to Do:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and technical specifications.
- Analyze product features, design test parameters, create customized quality checks, and write test reports.
- Performs hands-on manual and exploratory testing for all software releases.
- Identify, document, and drive resolution of defects.
- Perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Validate fixes to ensure issues are resolved and nothing else broke.
- Participate in regression testing to confirm fixes and prevent reintroducing issues.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Contribute to test planning, including decomposing requirements into test scenarios.
- Accurately estimate testing efforts for project planning and tracking and provide input to scrum master.
- Partner closely with scrum masters and developers to ensure smooth, high-quality releases.
