Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Technician to support the development, production, assembly, delivery, and lifecycle sustainment of sophisticated electro-mechanical products supporting DoD customer requirements. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality production standards, regulatory compliance, and mission readiness for complex defense systems.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on manufacturing experience within a regulated defense environment and a strong understanding of inspection, testing, and process discipline across electro-mechanical assemblies.

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Technician to support the development, production, assembly, delivery, and lifecycle sustainment of sophisticated electro-mechanical products supporting DoD customer requirements. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality production standards, regulatory compliance, and mission readiness for complex defense systems.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on manufacturing experience within a regulated defense environment and a strong understanding of inspection, testing, and process discipline across electro-mechanical assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, production, assembly, delivery, and ongoing support of advanced electro-mechanical systems for DoD programs.
- Perform inspection and testing of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and piezoelectric components to ensure conformance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Assemble small components into space-restricted subsystems with precision and attention to detail.
- Read, interpret, and execute detailed assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, crimpers, wire strippers, soldering irons, adhesives, and measurement scales with proficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge), FOD (Foreign Object Debris), and EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety) requirements.
- Support production floor activities and ensure compliance with quality and manufacturing standards.
- Document and communicate technical findings, test results, and assembly issues clearly and accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Active SECRET Security Clearance.
- Experience supporting the development, production, assembly, delivery, and sustainment of sophisticated electro-mechanical products serving DoD customers.
- Experience inspecting and testing CCAs and piezoelectric components for drawing conformance.
- Strong knowledge of ESD, FOD, and EH&S compliance requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret technical assembly drawings and documentation.
- Experience assembling precision components in space-constrained environments.
- Proficiency using crimpers, wire strippers, soldering irons, hand tools, power tools, adhesives, and scales.
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives within a manufacturing cell or production floor.
- Experience writing or redlining work instructions to document production improvements.
- Strong ability to rapidly learn and execute new work instructions and production processes.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated manufacturing environment.
