  • Programs: PM C2T / PdM Mission Network (Tactical Network)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Management Analyst II with a specialization in Configuration Management to join our team. This role provides comprehensive support for the development, production, and sustainment of the Army's tactical network transport systems. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between administrative program management and technical configuration control, ensuring that program milestones, manpower efforts, and technical baselines are accurately documented and managed within the PM Tactical Network portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Configuration & Technical Management
  • Baseline Integrity: Maintain functional and physical baselines for Mission Network equipment (ATH/OTM), ensuring all changes are synchronized with program schedules.
  • CCB Leadership: Facilitate and document Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and Engineering Review Boards (ERB); track the lifecycle of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) from submission to implementation.
  • Audit & Verification: Support Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA) to ensure hardware/software configurations match the approved Technical Data Packages (TDP).

Program Management Support
  • Strategic & Business Planning: Contribute to the development and sustainment of Strategic Plans, Programs, and Policies (SPPP). Perform business planning and coordination to meet overall program objectives.
  • Administrative Management: Provide staff action tracking, process deliverables (CDRLs), and organize/archive computer-based files to maintain a permanent record of program decisions.
  • Briefing & Presentation: Prepare and staff high-level briefings and spreadsheets for PM C2T leadership to communicate program status, configuration states, and milestone achievements.

Scheduling & Milestone Tracking
  • Critical Path Analysis: Publish, distribute, and revise planning schedules for key activities and milestones.
  • Fielding Support: Track dependencies for the development and fielding of PM Tactical Network assets, ensuring configuration updates do not negatively impact deployment timelines.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) in any field is required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of program management support experience.
    • At least 3 years of specific experience within a DoD Program Executive Office (PEO), Project Manager (O6 PM), or Product Manager (O5 PdM) environment.
  • Specialized Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with DoD Configuration Management standards (e.g., MIL-HDBK-61 or SAE-GEIA-HB-649).
    • Understanding of Mission Network transport-agnostic capabilities and expeditionary networking equipment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project management/CM tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, or MS Project).
  • Professionalism: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to solve problems within a dynamic, fast-paced APG environment.

Mission Impact

In this role, you serve as the link between "The Plan" and "The Product." By ensuring that the PM C2T program office stays organized and the Mission Network configurations stay accurate, you directly enable the deployment of resilient, version-controlled communications for Soldiers in the field.
