Aircraft Electrical Technician (F-15 Depot Level)

Responsibilities:
- Perform on- and off-aircraft electrical modifications to wiring, harnesses, and system components
- Complete complex connector terminations including shielded wire, coaxial cable, and fiber optic wiring
- Execute wire routing, sealing, bonding, wrapping, tying, and harness closure per standard processes
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, technical orders, retrofit instructions, and process specifications
- Perform assembly, installation, modification, and operational/quality testing of wire bundles and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot aircraft electrical and environmental systems at the organizational and depot maintenance level
- Conduct bench and flight line operational testing in accordance with DOD, manufacturer, and company directives
- Diagnose and correct electrical assembly malfunctions
- Perform precision measurements and conformance checks using gauges and testing equipment
- Follow Hazardous Energy Control and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
- Comply with FOD (Foreign Object Debris) and site tool control procedures
- Assist and train junior mechanics; may lead teams on complex aircraft electrical tasks
- Support cross-functional teams (Structures, Avionics, General Mechanics) to meet cost and schedule objectives
- Maintain required certifications, permits, and training qualifications
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- Experience:
- 4+ years performing aircraft electrical modification, wiring installation, and troubleshooting
- 4+ years of knowledge in electrical/electronic theory and aircraft electrical systems
- Ability to pass post-training assessment
- Ability to work rotating shifts (1st & 2nd), overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to meet physical requirements including ladder work, confined spaces, lifting up to 35 lbs (team lift over 50 lbs), overhead/repetitive tasks
- Ability to pass visual acuity and color perception testing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Depot-level or modification maintenance experience
- Experience operating forklifts, mobile cranes, or powered elevating equipment
