PMS450 is the acquisition program office for the New Construction of Attack Submarines and for identifying, assembling, managing, directing, and coordinating the resources required for the R&D, design, construction, Test and Evaluation (T&E), Live Fire Test and Evaluation (LFT&E), and Fleet introduction of the U.S. Navy's newest class of nuclear attack submarines.
PMS450 is responsible for developing and deploying a more affordable, nuclear-powered attack submarine with multi-mission capability and enhanced capabilities for performance in littoral areas. VIRGINIA Class submarines support five of the six Navy core maritime capabilities: Deterrence, Maritime Security, Sea Control, Forward Presence, and Power Projection.

Serco is actively seeking someone to support our client in driving the Strategic International Engagement effort for acquisition and program management support.in PMS450, the VIRGINIA Class Submarine program office. In this role, you will:
- Support the implementation of the organization's Strategic International Engagement plan for Team Submarine
- Coordinate, support and participate in U.S. led international meetings with foreign allies
- Work with various international partners, Navy International Program Office, and various NAVSEA directorates.
- Ensure all elements of International Agreements are followed to include ITAR and Commerce Restrictions.
- Support the Submarine Superiority Project, submarine sensor and processing systems and all international activities related.
- Translate technical information into effective, easy to understand, public communication products
- Communicate with different audiences using multiple applications and tools.
- Monitor customer base trends to identify strategic engagement opportunities
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An active Secret clearance.
- A Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field, preferred communications.
- 10+ year's work experience within DoD, the Armed Services.
- MS Microsoft skills are essential, especially EXCEL and PowerPoint.
- You must have the ability to work both in a team environment and independently, and often under short, multiple deadlines.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Preferred work experience in the Navy and specifically within Team Submarine or submarines in general.
- Preferred work experience dealing with strategic International Engagements within the Navy or DoD.
- Experience in ITAR and EAR is a real plus.
- Knowledge of DoD policies, NAVSEASYSCOM/Team Submarine policies and procedures.
