We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead, mentor, and grow a
high-performing team of software engineers with a strong emphasis on client-facing
project execution and solution delivery. This individual will be responsible for technical
delivery, execution quality, and the professional development of team members. This is

Key Responsibilities
● Client Engagement, Strategy, and Technical Delivery
● Drive strategic technical alignment and act as the primary technical
interface with key clients, focusing on defining complex technical
engagements, managing project scope creep, and ensuring solutions align
with client business outcomes.
, ● Work closely with both technical and non-technical client and internal
stakeholders to analyze requirements, manage expectations, and translate
complex engineering decisions into clear, business-focused implications
for project feasibility, resources, and timelines.
● Oversee the development of reusable internal frameworks, accelerators,
and best practice blueprints to ensure high-quality, repeatable, and
efficient delivery across all client projects.
● Serve as a trusted technical escalation point for client delivery teams
across the services portfolio, ensuring roadblocks are addressed quickly.
Establish and enforce high-quality, standardized engineering delivery
methodologies to maintain execution excellence across all projects and
environments.
● Partner with the Leadership team by contributing technical expertise to
proposals, statements of work (SOWs) and client presentations. Define
the initial technical architecture and scope for complex new projects.
● Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks associated with project
delivery.
● Team Leadership and People Management
● Lead, mentor, and grow an organization of high-performing engineers and
technical leads who are deployed across diverse client-facing projects.
Coach team members on client communication, consulting and technical
skills, and solution delivery.
● Conduct regular meetings and performance discussions with team
members to develop and execute growth plans for career progression.
● Support recruiting efforts including defining role requirements and
conducting technical interviews.
● Drive organizational improvements and champion cross-functional
initiatives to boost engineering productivity and quality.
● Foster an environment of technical excellence by establishing and leading
efforts for cross-project knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
● 8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 4+ years
in a formal Engineering Management role overseeing engineering teams or
technical leads in a professional services or consulting environment.
● Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
a related field
● Demonstrated success in leading, mentoring, and developing an engineering
organization of 10+ engineers (either directly or indirectly) and driving the
successful delivery of multiple, simultaneous client-facing technical projects.
● Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern
software project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
● Excellent communication skills - able to interface with executives, clients, and
engineers. Proven ability to communicate complex technical and business
trade-offs effectively to executive leadership and external clients.
● Hands-on technical background in one or more core services areas: application
development, cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure), data engineering, full-stack software
development, or AI/ML, with a focus on architectural design and deployment
within a client-defined scope.
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience working with Federal Government and/or Defense agencies
● Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification
