Program Description:
This program supports an Open-Air Advanced Radar Program (OAARP) that will advance and enhance DoD’s target detection capability in challenging environments.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test electrical components and systems for EO/IR sensor system applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software solutions.
Conduct system-level testing and validation to ensure compliance with performance specifications.
Analyze and troubleshoot electrical issues, providing timely solutions to enhance system reliability.
Document design processes, test results, and technical specifications for project records.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
STEM degree
5-10 years of relevant experience in electronics design, development, and testing.
Ability to design, develop, and test electrical components and systems
PCB design, test, and troubleshooting experience
Desired Skills:
RF Engineering
PCB Design for RF Systems
Experience with infrared sensor technology and seeker systems.
Familiarity with military standards and regulations related to defense systems.
Knowledge of software programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python) for embedded systems.
Strong understanding of electronic components and systems, including sensors or signal processing.
