Day to Day Responsibilities:
As a Systems Engineer on the program, you should have a complete understanding of at least one of the key system subject areas with the opportunity to work in all fields to include systems definition, decomposition, allocation, traceability, maintenance, verification/validation, system integration, analysis, and test.
Some of the roles and responsibilities you will leverage your expertise and talent to accomplish include, but are not limited to, the following:
Support major program reviews, including SRR, PDR, and CDR
Participate in specification and interface development/documentation, and support the development of verification plans
You may also have the opportunity to participate in system-level analyses in support of mission planning/execution and tests at various test ranges.
Required Skills:
5-10 years of experience with Systems Engineering
Experience with owning a full spec (specification) and/or verification and qualification experience
Experience with SRR, PDR, and CDR design reviews
Experience with Interface definition (ICD, IBDs, IDDs)
Desired Skills:
Using DOORS Requirements Management software
Modeling with Cameo software
Systems Engineering approach and processes
Requirement definition, decomposition, and allocation
Missile system analyses used in requirement derivation and verification
Planning and coordinating hardware and/or software testing for verification
Working with the Missile Defense Agency or NASA
Presenting at major reviews
Hardware/Software Development
Missile or Weapon System Development
CONOPS or Architecture Development
Support to System Level trade studies
Requirement Verification
Knowledge and experience in electrical/electro-mechanical design
