Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer

Program Description:

As an Electromagnetic Engineering Effects (E3) Engineer, you will support the System Engineering (SE) Special Disciplines Organization within National Security Space (NSS)
Day to Day Responsibilities:

Primary role will be to perform main aspects of EMI testing to include: planning, writing of test procedures, conducting/overseeing the equipment availability, setup, testing, and test report to stakeholders and customers
Apply and grow your electromagnetic engineering skills to enable the logical and systematic conversion of customer needs into total systems derived requirements and solutions
Perform and support functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Perform and support requirements sell-off through: compiling, organizing, performing, evaluating and documenting completed compliance verification process which assesses design performance and operational electromagnetic issues at both the package and system levels
Required Skills:

Expertise in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and/or Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3)
Expertise and conversant with MIL-STD-461 and/or MIL-STD-464
Desired Skills:

Experience with satellite and/or missile system and/or box level test and analysis (or equivalent)
MATLAB, Excel, CST/EMA3D (3-D modeling software tool), and PSPICE or equivalent experience
Generating EMC/E3 Control Plans, procedures, Lab Reports, or equivalent
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Analysis and Theory
