The Work
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cyber Capability Development and Integration Product Owner with a strong cyber background and experience working on complex tactical systems.
In this role, you will be the product owner of an integrated Agile Cyber Product Team, supporting multiple programs within the IWSS organization.
Responsibilities will include oversite and leadership of the full scope of the systems engineering process with a focus in cyber capability development and integration.
Tasking will include refining program scope and product deliverables, collaborating with Lead Cyber Engineers and Baseline Development Leads to identify products and create build plans, work with Engineering Planners on Agile tasking (e.g. backlog grooming, product epic creation/review, inchstones, capacity planning, etc.), support of cyber engineering tasks and identification of staffing needs, cross functional coordination of multiple teams to identify build freeze dates and ensure formal testing, management of the cyber team's delivery repository, drive systems engineering process and resolve scheduling issues, support CAM reviews, update ETCs, and review charging actuals, oversite of the delivery of cyber capability solutions to IWSS program's Linux based tactical systems.

The ability to travel up to 10%.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field with 8+ years related professional experience or Master's Degree and 7+ years related professional experience.
• Systems/Cyber Engineering experience working on complex Linux tactical systems developing and integrating cyber capabilities.
• Experience interfacing with program leadership/management and government customers.
• Understanding of Agile methodology and previous experience on an Agile team or as a Product Owner/Product Manager.
• Proven technical leadership as a capability subject matter expert or project lead on a technical effort.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (US citizenship is required).
• The ability to travel if/when necessary.
Desired Skills:
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Security+, Linux+, or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification
• Experience in leadership roles, preferably on Aegis programs/baselines
• Experience working with PEO IWS 1.0 Navy customer
• Experience with agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, or Python
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

The base range for this position in New Jersey is $75,000 - $135,961.
