Job Description
You will be the Manufacturing Planner Supervisor for the Material Center Team. Our team is responsible for production planning and material movements for all of Orlando site operations.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing more than one functional area in Material, such as material planning and control, material handling, transportation administration, stores management, and distribution. You will also coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience / combined education
• Past experience with Buy Planning, manufacturing and and/or Make Planning experience
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
• Possess working knowledge of lean manufacturing
• Working knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
• Previous lead or leadership experience
• Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree
• SAP ERP experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.
• Inventory Control and material handling knowledge.
• Experience with material requirements
• Experience with multiple manufacturing centers including Machining Operations (MOC), and Ocala
• Green belt trained and or certified
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
• APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
