Description:The Emerging Technologies team at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is looking for a dynamic and experienced Cyber Secure Software Manager to lead our Cyber Secure Software (CSS) team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead the strategy for software security across multiple Lines of Business (LOBs).
As a Cyber Secure Software Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Cyber Secure Software team, overseeing contracted and IRAD projects. You will be at the forefront of delivering innovative solutions that strengthen and evolve the security posture for Aeronautics software and establishing Lockheed Martin as an industry leader.
Team Leadership: Lead a highly skilled team of cyber secure software engineers focused on software security. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Project Management: Directly lead contracted projects related to software security. Ensure the successful transition and sustainment of the Iron suite of tools and others to support program milestones on several major contracts.
Strategy Development: Shape and implement the team's strategy for software assurance. Create long term strategic roadmaps. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices to inform strategic decision-making.
Automation Development: Oversee the development of solutions that enhance and improve the efficiency for application security and software teams from SAST and DAST scans to managing SBOMs and software vulnerability data for Aeronautics.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, engineering, and IT, to integrate security measures seamlessly into the software development life cycle. Implement AppSec practices across multiple lines of business at Aeronautics.
Risk Management: Identify and assess potential cybersecurity risks in software security projects. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field
2. Proven experience leading engineering teams
3. Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies
4. Project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills:
Software development, integration and/or test experience
Experience developing and presenting high-level engineering strategy to senior leadership
Working knowledge of software development processes specific to aircraft or embedded systems
Application Security knowledge and experience
Cyber Security experience
Experience implementing security into software development process and tools
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
