Travel: Required throughout the year during program execution

Position Overview
  • Lead and manage a STEM and/or technical program from strategic planning through execution
  • Oversee delivery of hands-on, technically rigorous initiatives aligned with workforce or educational objectives
  • Serve as the primary interface between technical staff, academic/industry partners, sponsors, and leadership
  • Ensure technical accuracy, program quality, and measurable outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement to keep programming aligned with evolving industry needs

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute program plans, schedules, and technical deliverables
  • Coordinate instructors, subject matter experts, mentors, and operational staff
  • Ensure curriculum, labs, workshops, or technical activities meet defined standards
  • Manage budgets, reporting requirements, and funding compliance (if applicable)
  • Track performance metrics including participation, technical outcomes, and impact
  • Identify and mitigate technical, operational, or safety risks
  • Build and maintain partnerships with industry, academia, and/or government stakeholders
  • Support proposal development, program expansion, and sustainability efforts
  • Present program updates and results to executive leadership and external partners


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, STEM discipline, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
  • 5-10+ years of experience leading STEM, technical, or engineering-focused programs
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary technical initiatives
  • Strong understanding of technical curriculum development or applied engineering environments
  • Experience working with industry, academic institutions, or government sponsors
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication abilities
  • Ability to translate high-level strategy into structured, executable plans
