Reporting To: PGI Senior Security Program Manager
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret (no polygraph)

PGI is seeking a Security Program Manager (SPM) to oversee physical security design, installation, and lifecycle management for new data centers, expansions, and high-security projects. This is primarily an on-site role with limited remote flexibility.
Position Overview
The SPM will lead the design, deployment, and oversight of physical security systems including:
Access Control Systems
Intrusion Detection Systems
CCTV/Camera Surveillance
Passive and Active Barriers
The role supports high-security data center environments and requires collaboration across multiple teams while serving as the subject matter expert for security design and installation oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead physical security design and system installation projects
Manage full project lifecycle (specifications, drawings, vendor oversight, budget, QA/QC, change orders, and close-out documentation)
Oversee contract execution and performance metrics
Coordinate operational readiness and system acceptance
Provide weekly updates to the customer’s Security Program Manager Team Lead
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in physical security design and/or electronic security systems (ACS, IDS, CCTV)
2+ years of program or project management experience
Ability to interpret construction plans (architectural, MEP, civil, telecom)
Familiarity with project management and construction software
Strong writing and presentation skills
U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to pass drug screening and background check
Occasional travel within 50-mile radius
Preferred Qualifications:
Lenel Access Control certification
Experience with Axis cameras, Commend intercoms, and Traka systems
PMP certification
Experience with MS Project, Smartsheets, BlueBeam
Knowledge of ICD 705 / IC Tech Spec – ICS 705
Military officers, senior NCOs (E-7+), Warrant Officers (CW2+), and former GS employees encouraged to apply
Battalion-level (or higher) staff experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, stand, walk, sit, and bend throughout the workday.
