As a Security Officer - Access Control Professional in Auburn, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and provide customer-focused assistance. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site personnel and/or public services when required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify credentials as directed by post orders, and document entries, exits, and/or unusual conditions.
• Complete accurate reports, incident logs, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
