Job Description
As a Security Officer - Overnight Patrol Driver in Mukilteo, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and/or defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will drive between posts as needed, following Allied Universal driver policy requirements. With an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, you will support a caring culture through clear communication, strong customer service, teamwork, and integrity on every shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions, unsecured doors, and/or potential hazards, with working conditions varying by post.
- Control access at entrances and restricted areas by checking identification, coordinating visitor processing, and/or directing personnel to appropriate check-in procedures as required by site policy.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
- Complete routine reports and incident documentation, and/or communicate noteworthy activity to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision in accordance with post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
