Time in Grade:
For entry at the GS14 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS13 or higher grade in the Federal Service.
Basic Requirements:
Applicants must demonstrate on their resume that they have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
Attention to Detail - experience reviewing my own information technology-related work or data and have been responsible for reviewing the work of others to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with standards
Customer Service - developing and maintaining relationships with customers, anticipating and assessing the current and future information technology needs of customers, and developing or identifying information technology products or services that are tailored to meet customer needs
Oral Communication - briefing senior-level management and IT staff on the status of information technology systems, projects, or daily operations, including the communication of complex technical information to a non-technical audience
Problem Solving - identifying alternatives to address unique, highly complex, or sensitive information technology-related issues. I have anticipated information technology-related problems and have identified and evaluated potential sources of information to generate alternative solutions.
Specialized Experience:
For the GS-14, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-13if outside the Federal service, is required.
Specialized experience at the GS14 level is defined as experience guiding, mentoring, or overseeing teams, whether in a formal or informal capacity; or experience coordinating the full project lifecycle, from conducting comprehensive fact-finding or qualitative/quantitative data analysis to driving process improvements or communicating findings through detailed reports.
In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirements, qualified applicants must also possess the quality of experience as it relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background, recency of experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the announced position. Candidates must clearly demonstrate the possession of the competencies necessary to successfully perform the work of the position at the appropriate level to be qualified for the position. Applicants must describe how their experience meets the competencies within the body of the resume. No separate statements addressing competencies are required.

Education
There is no substitution of education for the specialized experience requirement at this grade level.
To be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university. You must report only attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions that are recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services at the time of application. - Serves as a team-leader and project coordinator for systems analysis tasks. Provides assistance to, and coordinates the work efforts of, other analysts.
- Establishes, leads, and manages highly technical assessments of DISA functional processes and supporting software systems.
- Documents knowledge gaps, risks, and opportunities associated with DISA functions and recommends both automated and non-automated strategies for functional processes across the Agency.
- Develops functional and technical integration plans that integrate multiple IT specialties using state of the art practices and processes for software development and systems engineering.

- A one year probationary period may be required.
