Key Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze statistical data to evaluate purchasing feasibility and establish pricing objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, reliability, and adherence to delivery schedules.
- Track and analyze price trends, market shifts, and manufacturing processes to support strategic purchasing decisions.
- Identify opportunities to optimize procurement costs and strengthen material acquisition strategies.
- Review supplier proposals, conduct pricing negotiations, and recommend or select appropriate suppliers.
- Follow up on purchase orders, verify delivery of materials/services, approve payments, and maintain detailed procurement records.
- Prepare Request for Proposals (RFPs) and bid packages as needed.
- Active Secret Clearance
- 1+ year of relevant experience , including data entry or administrative support.
- At least 1 year of experience , specifically with data entry and Excel worksheet creation.
- Ability to analyze data, track trends, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.
- Exposure to procurement, purchasing, supply chain operations, or vendor management.
- Familiarity with pricing analysis, supplier evaluation, or basic negotiation practices.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes or material sourcing environments.
