Job Description
--We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to perform a variety of mechanical assembly operations in support of technologically advanced products. The ideal candidate will work from detailed work instructions, procedures, and engineering documentation to complete high-quality builds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role requires strong attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will work from detailed work instructions, procedures, and engineering documentation to complete high-quality builds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role requires strong attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and basic electronic assembly operations
- Follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and engineering documents
- Perform basic soldering (required)
- Conduct basic troubleshooting during assembly processes
- Document build records accurately and thoroughly
- Utilize hand tools, computers, and special tooling daily
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Move materials as needed throughout the assembly process
- Maintain a strong safety mindset and follow all procedures
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or 2-year post high school technical training) (required)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electronic or mechanical assembly
- Military training in building and/or troubleshooting mechanical components may be considered equivalent
- Basic soldering experience (required)
- Basic assembly troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- U.S. Citizen (required)
- Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC or J-STD certification (preferred, not required)
- Experience in electronic, optical, or mechanical assembly processes
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work across multiple shifts and occasional weekend work
- Enthusiastic self-starter who works well in team environments
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per shift)
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to sit for extended periods while performing detailed assembly tasks Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions throughout the shift
- Manual dexterity sufficient for handling small components and precision tools
- Visual acuity (corrected or uncorrected) sufficient to read detailed instructions, schematics, and identify small components
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels
- Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
